About the Program
Node, also known as Video Art Night, is an open-format projection program operating across Austin and San Antonio. Each iteration finds a new site and listens to it: a wall, a courtyard, a window, an industrial bay. The program brings together BIPOC artists, community organizations, and cultural institutions through screenings, guerrilla projections, and site-specific projection commissions.
- Open-format screenings welcoming BIPOC artists
- Guerrilla projections in unexpected sites across Austin and San Antonio
- Site-specific projection commissions for venues and organizations
- Collaborations with BIPOC-led partners and cultural institutions
- Each iteration shaped by the architecture and community of its site
