Tapestry Installation
Yanaguana Garden
Tapestry banners in the trees of Yanaguana Garden — land, its origins, and the people who shape it.
Land, Origins, and People
Yanaguana is the Indigenous Payaya word for the San Antonio River area. The project takes its name from that word: tapestry banners hung in the trees of Yanaguana Garden, about land, its origins, and the people who inhabit and shape it.
The work is about belonging, displacement, and cultivation in the landscape — the histories the land carries.
