A tapestry installation examining land, its origins, and the people who shape it.
Yanaguana Garden is a tapestry installation that examines the deep connections between land, its origins, and the people who inhabit and shape it. The project draws its name from the indigenous Payaya word for the San Antonio River area.
Through intricate textile work and immersive installation, this project explores themes of belonging, displacement, cultivation, and the layered histories embedded in the landscapes we inhabit.
